The first three panels is all about motion, its a bit goofy when you look at how he holds his sword but the action flows from it. The shading and contrast is much stronger due to the time of day. The page is really about the large clashes.
I tried to make that last panel full of energy with a shading from dark to light, drawing all of the motion towards the soldiers.
