It’ll take me a bit to fix everything as I have no Idea how to fix it.

In other news it is August and my comic’s birthday is coming up. I’ll start posting more stuff in a little while. If you must know what happens next you can check my comic’s other website HERE.

A simple and effective page. I really like how simple it was to shade everything on this one and how the vertical panels read. Max looks really awful on the bottom though. I tend to not diagram any faces and just draw them as I got. That really messes with everything but makes it more fun for me.

So for this page I wanted to build up to how Mark was affected by the battle. Although his armor looks really cool all shredded like that He got Shredded as well. The art itself served its purpose with really simple grays for the backgrounds.

Wacked out line drawing. I colored it too but didn’t really like the colors.

Simple quick sketch of a world where the Moon is like an Earth and the Earth is like the Moon. And if you haven’t noticed there are 3 rock people on the lower left staring at the brightly lit Earth. On a side note, the movie Moon, is spectacular.

Ok this page is kind of ugly. I tried going for a trifecta panel design and it sort of works. I think I tried too hard to make panel two look cool and it comes off kind of corny and goofy. I do like the bottom panel however. It is simple and has a cool angle of what is going on.

So this page was later added the silhouettes on the first panel and the text. Before it was just Mark choping the enemy’s head off and the silhouette on the bottom right. I wanted help with the pacing so I added all of that. And if you can’t tell what is really going on Mark is in the background chopping the eel rider’s head off. The head is spinning upsidedown so the blood is twirling. His shoulder’s been slashed through, breaking his clam shell shoulder pad.

My first color page that isn’t a cover sheet. It was originally green gas that the eel spewed, but I ended up changing up the color to make it match the chapter’s color theme. The previous page was to build up this page and Mark would be yelling at the top of his lungs right now. Mark himself looks pretty bad ass and I really liked the way this turned out.

This is a simple page. Mostly for pacing and slowing the scene down just a little. I tried to make the first panel look ominous with the silhouette of the sand eel and also the silhouette of the general from page 29.
