The 3rd
The 3rd is a Webcomic that I started posting online since 2006. It is tale of war and strife set in a fictional world filled with magic and mystery. The story follows Max a young soldier that finds himself thrust into a world much bigger than he is. In his journey Max will discover who he really is.

So a little history about the 3rd. It spawned as a creative short story that I had to do for my 7th grade class. Something that was supposed to be only 2-3 pages ballooned into a 40+ page story that detailed the story of Max, his brother Khawn, and their misadventures known at the time as Tri. This story helped birth a computer rpg also named Tri. The game itself ran off of the O.H.R.RPG.C.E. engine and was only about two levels long and made no sense at all. Anyways this awesome 40+ page story has since been lost due to the shuffle of moving around from place to place, but this laid the ground work for a comic that I started in my sophomore year of high school. I drew it on ugly yellow paper because my grandmother kept giving us strange colored paper that she got from work.

With this yellow paper comic I ended up making a 300+ page comic with all sorts of strange characters as well as terrible and hideous drawings that I called the 3rd. As I hit the end of Senior year I decided to stop working on it until I got a little better. The whole time that I worked on the comic I felt as though it was a practice run for a better cleaner version that I would make later. Once college rolled around and having found myself with some free time I started to look back and try and do a redo of the comic. After plotting for a whole year and only drawing two startup pages, I felt I was ready to start drawing and making something special out of this story.

In my sophomore year in College I discovered a website that posted your comic for free called Smackjeeves. Around the same time that I started to really pump out the pages and decided to put it online as well. 3 years later and here I am online with my own website that my sister got me as a christmas gift. The pages has slowed down but the passion for the 3rd still remains.
Yup I’ve been crafting the story for a while now and I will for a while more. So stick around and enjoy.
